Don’t forget it is the Woodpark Primary Sports Day tomorrow!
Parents/carers are welcome to attend at 10:45 for the inter-house competition, then again at 1:15 for the races.
Please wait at the black gate into the junior playground at both times for a member of staff to guide you to the events.
We hope to see as many of you as possible…and don’t forget your running shoes for the parents’ race!!
Sports Day will take place on Wednesday 22nd June
It is an all day event and the children are allowed to wear gym clothes (no football colours).
Parents/carers can attend at two separate times during the day –
- 10:45am – 12pm – the infant playground for the inter-house events
- 1:15pm – 2:30pm – the senior playground for the track events (follow the signs)
In the event of poor weather, we unfortunately cannot have parents/carers in the school for the event – we don’t have the space!
We hope for sunny weather and hope to see as many of you as possible there!

Hello Woodpark!
As you know we would all usually be in training for Sports Day coming up. Since we cannot all be together for our Sports Day this year, we thought we could all have one at home!
But oh no…not just a day – an entire week!
Starting next Monday, we have five full days of fun challenges for you to try at home in the link below and each day you can try the activities as best as you can.

BUT WAIT…that’s not all!
Every activity you do, ask an adult or someone else to either film it or take a picture of your doing it. Then you can email all your photos and videos each day to
wp@glow.sch.uk , and each day we will put a great big video of all your activities online for everyone to enjoy! Make sure to write your name AND your house somewhere in the email too!
Have fun everyone and we cannot wait to see all the action!
The weather is holding up and Sports Day is ON!
It’s that time of year again!
The annual Woodpark Sports Day will take place next Wednesday (12/6). Children should come to school dressed in their sports clothes for a day of fitness and fun!
All parents/carers are welcome to come and join the fun at these times –
11am for the inter-house competition (wait at playground entrance gate).
1:20pm for the traditional races (enter through the playground gate and head round the back onto the grass to view).

- Parents are welcome from 10:45 onwards in the infant playground.
- Please send your child with water and wearing sun cream! It’s going to be hot!
