We did it!
A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has helped us to collect Sun Book tokens over the last few weeks!
We are very happy to say that we have blown past the 3,500 requirement with time to spare!
Special thanks must go to Ms Storrie and to the Best One Shop (Cheema’s) on Priory Road for putting in so much effort to help us collect so many tokens.
All the brand new books will be on their way to the school soon!
Thank you all!
Sun Book Tokens
Another massive thank you for all your help collecting book tokens – we are nearly at our total of 3,500 tokens!
If you still have tokens, please send them into the school or drop them into the office ASAP so we can get them counted and submitted!
Sun Book Tokens
We are still collecting Sun Book Tokens to get free books!
If you have any tokens you can put them in your child’s Homelink or bring them directly to the office. Some days the tokens are worth 10 or even 100 so keep an eye out!
A big thank you to the local shops for supporting us in the collection also!
Free books!
The Scottish Sun are running a campaign to give schools a great collection of new books!
Woodpark Primary is registered to take part and all we need are 3,500 tokens printed in The Sun newspaper between 24th September and 18th November.
If we manage to collect all the tokens we get over 100 brand new books!
If you would like to help the school in reaching this target, please cut out any tokens you get and either hand them into the office or send them in your child’s Homelink folder.
Thank you!
Burns Day
A reminder that the Woodpark Burns Day celebrations take place tomorrow (25th Jan) – so get practising those poems and get ready to try some haggis!

Woodpark pupils celebrated World Book Day by coming to school dressed as their favourite book character. The librarians organised class competitions and congratulations go to the following prize winners.
P1 Sophie, P2 Olivia, P3 Madison, P4 Nicole, P5 Charlie, P6 Ellie, P7 Hannah
Thanks go to Mrs. Windle and the librarians for organising this event.
