Dear Parents/Carers

I wish to let you know that  there have been  reported cases of Covid in persons linked to the school.  You do not need to do anything unless you or a member of your family are contacted by Test and Protect as a close contact.  You are asked to note the guidance on self-isolation in the most recent letter from NHSL Public Health primary .

Dear Nursery Parents/Carers

We have been made aware of a confirmed case of scabies within nursery.  This condition is contagious and requires treatment.  Please be vigilant, and click the link below for NHS information.  If your child has a confirmed case please let us know, thank you.

Did you know that it can cost families around £15 a week to provide a daily packed lunch for nursery children?

Did you know that the children are entitled to a FREE, nutritionally balanced, lunch as part of their nursery day?

From next week we will put photos of our nursery lunch choices on the app and website for you to look at with your child. We will introduce taster pots of our nursery menu each day from next week to encourage more of our children to choose a nursery lunch.

Current guidance states that any packed lunches brought should have a frozen icepack inserted in order to maintain the appropriate temperature.

We hope that you will find this helpful, and that we can help you to save a bit of money in these times of rising fuel costs.

The car park is closed to all but staff today due to extremely icy conditions.  Please do not enter the car park.

The pedestrian pathway is being gritted but at present remains icy.  Please take great care on pavements and on our pathways.

Due to technical issues, the P7 Lockerbie information evening will be rearranged for next Thursday evening at 7pm (3.3.2022)

The school and nursery will open to children at 10am.

Please be aware that South Lanarkshire Council may make a decision later regarding closures, we will advise parents/carers should this decision be made on our app and website so please check the app and website regularly for any updates.

If you decide to keep your children home today you can find activities on the Snow Day pages of our website.

The car park is open for staff only today.  Please take care travelling to school!

If you have a child, or some one you know has a child whose third birthday falls between 01/03/22 and 28/02/23, and want to be considered for a nursery placement, you must apply for a space before 28/02/22 – next Monday.

Any applications received after this date will be classed as a late application, and you may need to wait longer to hear if your application has been successful.
