School closure
A reminder the children are off school next Monday and Tuesday (6/5 & 7/5) and will return to school on the Wednesday (8/5)
Highland Games
If you would like your children to be part of the PTA procession, all costume slips & money must be returned back to the school before Friday the 10th of May.
Committees
Woodpark Committees will once again meet this Friday. Remember to ask your child what committee they are in and what they got up to!
The Pupil Council will have a visitor at their committee this week from the local Development Trust. They’ll be asking the children about what improvements they would like to see in their local community and hopefully putting this into action! Stay tuned for further details.
Dress Down Friday
A reminder that this Friday (3/5) is a dress down day. Children who wish to take part should come to school with £1 as a contribution to school funds.
P3/4 lunchtime club
Games club starts tomorrow (1/5) for P3&4 children who have signed up. Please remember to send children to school with their PE kit.
Welcome back!
A huge welcome back to Mrs Taylor who started back today after maternity leave. Mrs Taylor will be in P1 until the end of the school year and we are so happy and grateful to have her back!
Lockerbie Manor
Any parents who need a balance enquiry of how much is left to pay, please contact the school office ASAP. A reminder that all further payments must be made through ParentPay.
Bikeability
P5-7 will begin Bikeability with Mr Hartley next week. Please check your child’s homelink for information.
PTA AGM
The PTA AGM is on tonight (25/5) from 6:30pm. Please come along if you can, all welcome! We will be discussing the Highland Games procession at this meeting, any new information will be shared accordingly.
Easter treats
Congratulations to Harry MacMillan (P5) and Natasha Clark (P4) who were the winners of P7’s Easter raffles. The Easter quiz/colouring competition is still running until Friday so for a chance to win an Easter Egg and a Tesco voucher, remember to see Mrs Duncan before Friday.
