Frequently Asked Questions

Please have a read at the questions you have asked below.

Any questions you ask in the ‘Got a Question?’ section will be added to this section as soon as possible.

Will my child order their own lunch or do parents order it?
Children order their own lunch. Each day they will put their name on the colour of school lunch they want (or packed lunch). The teacher will let them know what the choices are for lunch each day, but we would really appreciate it if parents discussed lunch choices each morning before coming to school. This will allow you child to get a lunch they definitely want each day. To view the lunches click here.
How do I pay for school lunches?
All school lunches for P1-3 are free of charge as part of a Scottish Government initiative. If you need to pay for something else like an after school club, we use a system called ‘ParentPay’ which is secure online payment system. Click here to find out about ParentPay.
Where can I order the Woodpark uniform?
You can view our uniform and order it from ALJ Workwear. Click here to view and order the Woodpark uniform.
What do children wear for gym?
For gym we ask that children wear a plain t-shirt (white if possible) and shorts. They can wear their ‘indoor’ shoes for gym. We would ask that all gym clothes and any gym bags have children’s names on them. If you would like gym clothes and gym bags with the Woodpark logo, these can be purchased from our supplier ALJ Workwear, however we would like to stress that they are not compulsory.
Can children keep their gym clothes in school?
Yes. Children can keep their gym clothes in their tray or in a bag on their peg. If you would like clothes home to wash, please write a note in your child’s diary. Likewise teachers will send home clothes in need of washing. We also try to encourage children to look after their own clothes.
