Homework

We give homework in order to:

  • promote self reliance, self discipline and confidence.
  • promote independent learning by encouraging the child to take responsibility for their personal progress.
  • encourage parents, carers and the school to work in partnership for the benefit of the child.
  • encourage children to realise that learning takes place outside the class.
