We support Healthy eating and our catering service provide a range of brunches, lunches and afternoon snacks that meet the Schools (Health Promotion and Nutrition) (Scotland) Act 2007 and the Nutrient Requirements for Food and Drink in Schools (Scotland) Regulations 2008.
From August 2021, all children attending a local authority nursery or ELC over the lunchtime period will be provided with a free lunch. In addition, if your child attends long mornings or afternoons of over 4 hours and 30 minutes your child will be provided with a ‘brunch’ or ‘afternoon tea’.
All meals include fresh chilled drinking water and Milk is available free of charge to all nursery age children and is provided by the establishment.
