Parent Communication

We communicate with parents and carers in a variety of ways to suit all preferences.

Traditional:

  • Under the ‘‘Contact’ area of this website, you will find full postal, telephone and email details.
  • We issue a monthly newsletter by pupil post.
  • We issue yearly formal pupil reports and hold Parents’ evenings.
  • The Head Teacher gives an update on the progress of the establishment improvement plan and pupil activities at monthly Parent Council meetings.

Technological:

If you have access to a device capable of connecting to the internet, then we have a number of additional methods that can provide more regular updates.

School App

This is frequently updated and will provide you with information such as dates for the diary, school lunch menus, upcoming events, important school news, school newsletters and time sensitive documents.
You will be given login details for the App when your child registers at the school. If you lose the login details or have any further questions, then please contact the school office.

We regularly post on Twitter @stmaryspsnc.
This account shares time sensitive information, pictures of our learning and celebrates the excellent work of our pupils.
The tweets from this account are protected and can only be seen by approved followers who are current St Mary’s parents. To request access, please click ‘Follow‘.
If we do not accept your request, it is because we do not recognise you from your account name. If this is the case, please contact the office for more information.

Website

The ‘Updates‘ area of this website contains blog posts relating to significant school events.
It is not updated on a regular basis and we would direct you to one of the other digital methods listed above for more up to date information.
