7. Support for Parents

Fare Share

FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. The food we redistribute is nutritious and good to eat. It reaches charities across the UK, including school breakfast clubs, older people’s lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. Every week we provide enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people.

We have teamed up with Tesco to offer fresh food out our families who may need it!! We receive the food every Wednesday so please get in touch for more information or if you would like to collect anything from us

Community Pantry

Rigside and Rural Communities Nursery has opened a community pantry, which provides anyone in our local community non-perishable goods for free.

Please donate to us: If you are able to, please hand in what you can. (Canned good, pasta, rice, sanitary products, wipes, baby food, cereal etc)

Please use us: It doesn’t matter about your circumstances – please if you need some help providing food and other things, come and help yourself. A pantry has been set up in each of our buildings. Just ring the doorbell and ask for access to the Pantry.
