💻 RAiSE Technologies Resource for Primary Schools

This RAiSE Technologies Resource has been designed to support learning, teaching and assessment in technologies within primary schools.

Developed through the RAiSE (Raising Attainment in Science Education) Programme, with support from Education Scotland and the Scottish Government, the resource aims to strengthen the delivery of high-quality STEM education across primary settings.

RAiSE is a national programme delivered by Education Scotland in partnership with The Wood Foundation, Scottish Government and local authorities, with a focus on enhancing practitioner confidence and improving outcomes in STEM.

🧩 How the resource is organised

The resource has been designed to be flexible and easy to navigate. It can be accessed in two ways:

  • By curricular organiser – supporting focused planning within specific areas of technologies
  • By level – supporting progression and continuity across stages

This resource provides a practical starting point for embedding technologies within the curriculum, helping practitioners to deliver engaging, relevant and progressive learning experiences that connect with wider STEM and Learning for Sustainability priorities.
