On our part, plastic is a genius invention that has allowed so much progress in our industries. It really has improved the lives of humans – on the surface. For those innocent creatures who experience the carnage, in the ocean plastic is poison. Currently we are “dumping the equivalent of one rubbish truck into the sea every minute.”
