Spelling Homework
Bananas: Unit 6 rule words
hop, hopping, hopped, beg, begging, begged, plan, planning, planned, stop, stopping, stopped
Write out words 3 times. Choose 4 words and write a sentence for each.
Oranges: revision of ‘oi’ and ‘oy’
toilet, coin, join, moist, poison, hoist, enjoy, royal, cowboy, loyal, boy, toy
In jotters write words 3 times each and a fourth time using writing writing.
Reading Homework
Unicorns 1: New book – The elves and the shoemaker (whole book)
Unicorns 2: New book – A world of sports (pages 1-8)
Centaurs: New book – The hundred mile an hour dog – Chapter 7 & 8
Dragons: Charlotte’s Web- Chapter 17, 18 & 19
Does anyone have an extra ‘The hundred mile an hour dog’ book? We are missing 1 copy.
Please ensure pupils keep their reading book in the clear reading folder provided at all times.
