Hopefully you will now all have received your Report cards and information about your new Teachers’ for Primary 5.  Please look out for another little package which will hopefully arrive soon from Mrs Rhicard and Mrs Steele.😉😉😉

We also have a wee message to share:

Mrs McDowall 🌈

We are sorry we couldn’t see you in person to say goodbye and finish Primary 4 but please do pop by in August to say hello and let us know how you are getting on.  We thought we would leave you with some nice thoughtful quotes.

It has really been a pleasure teaching you all and we hope you all have a wonderful Summer break. Take care everyone.

Week beginning 22.6.20

Hi everyone,

We have reached the final week of the school term for this year. We hope you have all enjoyed Primary 4? It’s just unfortunate things didn’t quite go the way we had planned.

We have been in the hub and have been in class getting it all organised for next year, it was just sad not having you all with us. We have missed seeing all your happy smiley faces.

To those who have sent us in their work during online learning, thank you so much. We have loved seeing and hearing about what you have been up to and enjoyed looking at your work.

This week’s learning tasks will look a little different as there is only 2.5 days left til the holidays. We thought you have been working so hard through these tricky times and done so well you really do deserve an end of term party to reward you.😉

We would like you to be Enterprising this week and plan an end of term celebration party combining literacy, maths, science, technology, art and health and well being skills.🎈🥳🍕🍨🧁🍬🥤

Start by drawing up a plan. Talk with your grown-ups about what might be acceptable to do.

When will your party be?   (Wednesday)

What time will your party be at? (Lunchtime)

What food and drink would you like at your party ?    ( Cake, sandwiches, lemonade, fruit, sweets)

How will I decorate my party? (Bunting, balloons) Can you make your own bunting?

Will it be indoors or a garden party? (look at the weather forecast)

What do I need to do?  (make a list of tasks)

Do I need to bake? (get ingredients organised , write a shopping list with your adult, plan out what you need)

Make a cake following a recipe ( adult supervision)

Try making homemade lemonade or a drink of your choice

Making decorations, bunting or pictures.

Are you going to play any games at your party? Which games and what equipment do you need?

On the day, make sure you have followed your plan and have everything organised. Set up the party and get everything ready.

Party Time: Have fun!!!!!🥤🍬🧁🍨🍕🎈🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Check in and let us know how you are getting on with your party planning. The only thing we can’t plan is the weather! Here’s hoping it will be dry.

We would love to see pictures of you celebrating the end of term.

Thank you all for being a lovely class. We have both thoroughly enjoyed teaching you. We hope you and your family have a lovely summer break and despite the restrictions manage to do things you enjoy.  We will look forward to seeing you all at some point in August when you return as Primary 5’s.

Take care,

Mrs Rhicard and Mrs Steele
