Bananas: Unit 5 common words

January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December

In jotters, write out words 3 times (one of the times using rainbow writing)

Oranges: consolidation of stage 2 phonemes

ai: rain, pain, faint, wait, train

qu: quick, queen, quiz, quit, queue

In jotters, write words out 3 times. Choose 3 of the words and write a sentence

Reading Homework

Unicorns 1: New book – Poles Apart (pages 2-24)

Unicorns 2: New book – The perfect pizza (pages 9-16)

Centaurs: Read and discuss whole book

Dragons: Charlotte’s Web- Chapter 8 & 9

Please ensure pupils keep their reading book in the clear reading folder provided at all times.

Maths Homework

Triangles: Revision of 4, 6 and 8 times tables

Circles: Revision of 2, 5 and 10 times tables
