This week the children will have spelling, reading, maths and Scots homework.
As this is Scots week in school, the class has been given a poem to learn. It has been sent home in bags today. We hope to have a few pupils share this at assembly on Friday! We will be completing several Scots related activities this week in class.
Spelling Homework
Bananas: Unit 5 Core Words-phoneme “oo”
shook, proof, ruler, cute, threw, grew, rescue, statue, push, put
Complete the phoneme grid for ”oo” and it’s representations
Oranges: ‘mb’ phoneme
Phoneme words: comb, lamb,climb, crumb, dumb
Common words: green, people, which, another
In jotters, write words out 3 times using the LASACAWAC strategy, last column write in rainbow writing. Choose 3 words and write the Dictionary meaning for each.
