Spelling Homework
Bananas: Rule words Unit 4- ‘i’ or ‘y’ followed by a consonant
bitten, city, tilted, chimp, gym, hymn, myth, crypt, mystery, symbol
In jotters, write words out 3 times using the LASACAWAC strategy. Choose 4 words and write a sentence for each.
Oranges: ‘kn’ phoneme
Phoneme words: knock, know, knee, knight, kneel, knew
Common words: under, were, thing
In jotters, write words out 3 times using the LASACAWAC strategy, last column write in rainbow writing. Choose 3 words and write a sentence for each.

Solo Talk- River Clyde Animal
As discussed before the holidays pupils will have a Solo Talk to complete this term. Each pupil has a leaflet outlining the set criteria in their bag today (Monday 6th). Talks should be ready to be presented week beginning the 20th. If a child is making a presentation on PowerPoint please could it be saved on a USB stick to allow it to be viewed in class.
