The Children began Drawing Club this week and what a great time they have had. They are immersed in vocabulary and mark making to create drawings following a story. It is so much fun and covers such a wide range of skills.

This story was about Smelly Peter and the children have practiced the letter ‘p’ to make their planet even smellier! There is a hidden code, a number, on each picture to stop the smell getting out into the classroom. They have also drawn lots and lots of peas (the letter ‘o’, and circles) to feed Peter and the aliens.

Every book has opportunities for mark making, maths  and lots of conversations. They can’t wait to show you their drawings.
