Roald Dahl Day!

Yesterday would have been Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday! We learned about the life of this much-loved children’s author and discussed which of his books we have read and enjoyed. We all read James and the Giant Peach in Primary 4 and agreed that we all loved it! We are hoping to read one of his books in class later in the year.

We had been due to join in with a live event for Roald Dahl Day but the internet wouldn’t let us connect. Instead, we found a video with Quentin Blake showing us how to draw Willy Wonka. We all joined in and created our own pictures – they’ve turned out brilliantly! Have a look at our pictures below!
