We are learning about the Zones of Regulation. We are getting to know each of the four zones: blue, green, yellow and red and the emotions that go with them.
P5-7 have worked in groups to create a display for our classroom using the characters from ‘Inside Out.’
Each group decorated their poster and chose words they felt represented each zone.

P3-7 are enjoying taking part in Bikeability at school.
This week P6 and 7 focused on three skills: safe starting, u-turns and safe stopping.
They practiced in the multicourt and then went out on the main road.

P2-4 walked to the beach. We used number lines in the sand to help us to count on from the larger number. We had great fun ‘jumping’ and counting on!

P5-7 are taking advantage of the nice weather and learning outside whenever we can.
Both art lessons this term have taken place outside. We have also eaten snack and lunch outside nearly every day.

P5-7 had fun playing a multiplication game outside this morning. They worked with their teams in a relay race. It was great to be outside learning in the sunshine.

P5-7 are taking part in the Daily Mile each morning.
We do laps around the multicourt. The bairns are welcome to run, walk, skip or do anything they want!
Sometimes the class like to run fast, other times they walk around chatting to their friends. It’s a great way to start the day.

P5 – 7 are learning about multiplication and division this term. They completed a maths scavenger hunt this afternoon in groups.
The groups had to work out the answers to each question and find the matching letter clue. They were hidden all over the school grounds!
All the groups did a great job working together to solve the puzzle. The secret code said….’We love maths!’
