We were delighted to win a cup and a trophy for our school harvest display at the Northmavine Produce Show. Everything was grown in our school polycrub apart from the tatties, they’re hardy enough to grow outside in Shetland! The children planted the seeds in our polycrub and took turns at watering everything each week. They harvested the last of our produce last week and we displayed it on our board for the show (although not everything could fit on!) We tried growing flowers in our school polycrub for the first time this year, they were a huge success and they’re still flowering.
