We have been learning about the life cycle of a chicken. We got 12 hatching eggs from Hensington Palace. We looked after them for 3 weeks, turning them in the incubator 3 times a day. 11 chicks hatched and we were so excited to care for them for a week, we had to give them fresh water and food each day. They’ve now gone to their new home, a local croft just down the road from our school.
