Over the past 7 weeks, the children have taken part in a social food group. The aim of the food group was to increase each child’s skills and knowledge in regards to healthy eating whilst as the same time increasing their social interaction and fine motor skills. The children really enjoyed social food group, thanks to Charis and Sally-Anne and the OT team for taking the group each week. The children got to make:

  • Sushi sandwich rolls
  • Pitta break pizza faces
  • Fruit smoothies
  • Banana pancakes & blueberry pancakes
  • Fish fingers
  • Fruit & vegetable characters
  • Chocolate Easter nests
