Primary Achievement Wall
As you may be aware, James Aitken was one of the winning entrants for the Mind Your Head Competition for Suicide Prevention Week. His design has now been incorporated into a video for Mental Health Awareness Week, which ran from the 18th – 24th May. Well done James, what an achievement! follow the link below to read the article in the Shetland Times, and to view the video.
Our Secondary Achievement Wall is displayed in the central social area of the secondary department known as the Red Area. A wide range of personal achievements involving school life, the wider community, volunteering and a range of creative and sporting pursuits are on display. S3 interview pupils about their individual or group achievements and a summary is displayed with a photograph. The wall illustrates the diverse talents and determination of our pupils.
Pupils, staff and parents can contact any S3 pupil or Mrs Watt if they have a suggested addition to the Achievement Wall. An archive of past achievements is available in the staff room.
