Micro Tyco From My Point Of View

Our School did Micro Tyco. In my point of view Micro Tyco is a hard working business challenge that tests your skills and talents that you thought you never had. You have £1.00 to start off with at the start of the four weeks. You can sell whatever you want as long as it is legal. My team had two sales. The first sale we had was on the first week and the forth week and it was on the last day as well so it was a bit crazy around the stalls.  Me and Mia were writing names on raffle tickets like there was no tomorrow. Finally the mad rush hour came to a holt and Mia and I finally got a break. I like Micro Tyco and I hope we do it in 2015.  The final total raised by both teams was £299.58               .

Micro Tyco – last day

The children had to work  very hard today. They set up their stalls thinking about how to best  display their goods  to attract customers; they had a lot of different goods so had to think carefully about this. They took it in turns to serve customers and sell raffle tickets so everyone got a chance to practise  taking money and giving change.  They had to keep the stalls topped up and keep them looking attractive all day. They had a lot of customers when they first opened and then others who came in during the day. When the  sale ended the children had to count their money carefully and share the raffle takings equally between both teams.  This  took a while so the older ones  drew the raffle during after school club.  Selling-Sensation and Mount Rainbow  have to make sure they have paid all their costs before they can work out their exact profit and see which team made the most. I think they have all learned how hard you have to work  to run a successful enterprise and how many things you have to consider.

Fish And Chips

On Saturday night we had fish and chips we had lots of stalls I was with Abby and Lucy on baking. I made chocolate biscuits.  I learned you had to stay close to the tables.I had to Know how to count money so when a costumer comes and buys something so you know the costumers gave the right money my dad was selling fish and chips we had some to. there was still some of my biscuits on the tray I went around with the tray I learned that when I carried the tray I just had to smile and everybody wanted a biscuit the tray was nearly all empty. at the raffle I had to shout out loud so every one hears and close your eyes when you get out the raffle.the total we raised was over £900.

Tuesday 11th November

On Tuesday 11th November we did African drumming with Joy Duncan. Me, Sofia, Hannah, Emer, Honor, Melissa, Abby, and Rosie danced at the end. Some parents were early to pick up people so they joined us. We had to tell them what were doing. I hope we do it again sometime.

Post Card to Each Other

On Thursday, with Miss Colclough, we did postcards to each other. Nobody wrote to me but I wrote to Sofia. I said about when I went to Honor’s house and had a sleepover. It was on the tricle treeting night. We were eating sweeties that we got from the different houses. We eventually eat all of the sweeties. I got to sleep but Honor was still plaing on her iPod. We woke up the next day and we played a game outside because it was a lovely day. We played the hole day until I had to go home.

Learning How to Wash our Hands

Yesterday  we learned to wash  our hands properly. If you don’t wash your hands the  bad germs can make you ill. If  you have been   coughing or sneezing you should wash your hands because if you put your fingers in your mouth they will transfer to your body or if you  touch your food with dirty hands then eat it the germs will transfer into your stomach. Emer, Mia,Melissa and Kerry did a song which they taught me. It tells you how to wash your hands. We also thought about reasons how to defend ourselves eating fruit because it gives you vitamins. When you are going to sneeze or cough you should get a tissue and throw the tissue in the bin or sneeze or cough into your hands and then wash them.
