Today we Harvest our bere. Mary our Crofting connections partner crofter said that we should havest the bere today other wise they will die. Bere is an old Shetland plant. We got some scissors  because we couldn’t get a combine harvester in the school play ground. We started chopping and gathering the bere we chopped it from the bottom. They were a lot of bere in our hands. We tied it togher tightley and put it where the bike stands are.
