The Nest
Our youngest pupils in school learn in our nest. Children come to ‘The Nest’ from they are 2 years old. Activities in ‘The Nest’ are age and stage appropriate. We have lots of sensory play and opportunities for children to explore and develop their interest in the world around them. We have a small but lovely garden area which the children have access to on a daily basis. Our staff ratios in ‘The Nest’ are high. (1adult:5pupils). This session Mrs Ewing, Mrs Grier and Mrs Taylor are our Early Years practitioner in ‘The Nest’.
There are a range of ways of accessing a place in ‘The Nest’. These are outlined below
- Parents can apply to south Ayrshire council for a paid place.
- Parent who are in receipt of certain benefits can apply to South Ayrshire Council for a free place
