We are the JRSO which stands for Junior Road Safety Officers.

We work alongside Mrs Shepherd to make sure that road safety messages are shared throughout the school and wider community.

The Road safety Framework to 2030, sets out the compelling long-term vision for road safety, ‘Vision Zero’ where there are no fatalities or injuries on Scotland’s roads by 2050. Unfortunately, road accidents still represent one of the highest causes of accidental death to Scotland’s young people.

We plan to work with the school and community to increase safe travel for all including children cycling, crossing roads and being out and about with friends.

As a group we like to organise competitions/events/learning to help raise awareness around the school about the dangers of the road.
