Hello, welcome toPrimary 6! Our teacher is Mrs Laing and our classroom support assistant is Mrs Kennedy. They plan our learning based on our individual context and character and have great expectations of us progressing well towards our last year of primary education. We are 18 boys and 8 girls and are all wonderfully different but getting along very harmoniously. We all love P.E. and always support each other in our work and play in the indoor and outdoor classrooms. We enjoy active learning and are always up for fun challenges. This year, we are excited to develop our knowledge of our natural world through STEM events and outdoor, multiliteracy and interdisciplinary learning. As upper primary pupils, we understand we are starting our early transition towards secondary school and are keen to be given tasks to develop our maturity, independence, resilience, collaborative, and leadership skills. We take our place in the world and rights very seriously and are often addressing these in our Rights-Respecting Schools and Global Citizenship lessons. We aim to be good role models for younger learners in the school and the rest of our community. Here to a fabulous Primary 6 year to remember!
