Girvan Primary School

Driving ambition through support, challenge and creativity

Reporting

Girvan Primary School reports to parents in a number of ways, both formal and informal. Formal reporting opportunities include:

  • Parents’ Evenings – these are held twice per session
  • Written reports:
    • 2 interim reports detailing your child’s progress
    • 1 end of year report which details progress and contains a written comment from your child’s class teacher

Parents and carers are encouraged to contact the school if they have concerns about any aspect of their child’s education. Staff will always be willing to discuss your child’s progress at any point throughout the year. Should you wish to speak to your child’s class teacher, please contact the school office to make an appointment. Alternatively, you may wish to speak to a member of the Senior Leadership Team who are available in the playground each morning.
