In Girvan Primary, our vision is to develop an inclusive learning environment which recognises and embraces diversity whilst meeting the needs of all learners. We respect every young person for who they are, regardless of their background, life circumstances, personal choices or individual needs. In doing so, we recognise the significant role we play in developing a flourishing and inclusive community.

All children will require extra support at some point in their lives. This support can be varied and for an indeterminate amount of time. Our aim is to provide the right support at the right time to ensure every child is able to fulfil their potential.

At Girvan Primary School, we have 2 Support and Wellbeing classes. It may be appropriate for learners to receive support within a dedicated environment within the school, this being our Support and Wellbeing department.
