Hello and welcome to P3 with Mrs Love and Mrs Duncan! Mrs Love will teach us every Monday and Tuesday with Mrs Duncan teaching every Thursday and Friday. On a Wednesday we are very lucky that they will take it week about. Mrs McCafferty is our classroom assistant, and she is there to work with us and support us each day in our learning. We will be using Seesaw again this year to communicate with parents/carers and share learning. Please keep an eye out for any new posts.
Our priority in Health and Wellbeing this term is helping all pupils settle back into school, establishing the routines and expectations in P3 and agreeing our class charter. In maths, our focus will be place value, rounding numbers and estimation, and in literacy we will build on our phonics and story writing skills. Our topic this term is Egyptians.
· PE Days will be Tuesdays and Fridays.
· We will visit the ICT suite on a Monday and a Friday.
· We are very lucky to be welcoming back the YMI music instructors again this year. They will start the new block in September and will visit weekly until December.
· Homework will be given out on a Monday and should be returned on a Friday. For some children, they will be required to bring their book bags daily in order to access their reading books. We are unable to send home new books until previous ones have been returned.
