The Rights Respecting Committee takes responsibility for promoting children’s rights within the school, and wider community. Our committee aims to raise awareness of children’s rights and ensure that it is at the centre of everything we do within the school. We are guided by the United Nations Convention on The Rights of the Child and we have made sure that the documents are displayed around the school. We aim to meet at least twice a term and look for new and exciting ways to raise awareness of our rights. We received the UNICEF Level 1 award for Rights Respecting Schools and are now looking to work towards Level 2. Watch this space!
