Today’s task is some writing. I would like you to write a story based on one of the images below the success criteria.
Success Criteria:
- Describe the setting using your senses what does it look like, smell like, feel like…
- Describe the characters using the FANTASTICS
- write in third person (he, she, they). I don’t want you to use I.
- Give your story a beginning, middle and end, remember there has to be a main event!
- Use the FANTASTICS throughout
- Use good punctuation
- Try to use smilies, metaphors, onomatopoeia, rhyme, alliteration
Use this as a check list when checking your writing. Here are the pictures you are to use, choose one to base your story on.

I am going to give you a list of numbers and you have to come up with as many questions as you can.
