Mrs McAllan and Mrs Church are currently trained as Bikeability Scotland Instructors and have been delivering the course for the last 3 years.

We are looking for volunteers to help us deliver Bikeability Scotland, the national cycle training programme for school children.  You don’t need to be a cycling expert to volunteer – you just need to be able to cycle confidently.

Courses are being held at KGV Pavilion, Renfrew and there are 4 starting dates to choose from.  You would only need to attend one course held over two days.  On all days, training runs from 9am until 12.30pm.  Bikes/Helmets available to borrow if required but better if you could bring your own.

Dates are as follows –

Course 1 – Monday 22^nd August and Monday 29^th August

Course 2 – Tuesday 23^rd August and Tuesday 30^th August

Course 3 – Thursday 1^st September and Thursday 15^th September

Course 4 – Tuesday 6^th September and Tuesday 13^th September

Bikeability Scotland Volunteer Leaflet

During Fairtrade Fortnight, Primary 6 ran a Rainbow Turtle Tuck Shop for all of the classes.  In the shop, children were able to buy various pocket money items.  Through all of their hard work, they managed to sell £145.89 worth of goods.

What a fantastic achievement!
