Renfrewshire Council provides a healthy, balanced and nutritious 2 course lunch which is prepared freshly every day in primary schools. Water, milk, bread and fruit are also available daily.
The menu is based on a 3-week cycle and is nutritionally balanced to meet the Scottish Government’s Nutrition Requirements for Food and Drink in Schools Regulations.
All Primary 1 to 3 pupils are entitled to a free lunch. For Primary 4 to 7 pupils the meal cost is £2.25 daily unless they are eligible for a free school meal.
If your child has a food allergy; intolerance; or medically prescribed diet, please contact the school in the first instance so that any necessary arrangements can be put in place. We will work with parents and dieticians to ensure your child is provided with a menu that meets their requirements.
