Pupil Support Needs

In Glencoats, we strive to meet the needs of all our unique and wonderful children within a consistent and nurturing environment.  It takes the commitment of a team to get it right for all our children and we are lucky to have a dedicated team who care about our young people’s needs and who work hard to provide the right support and care.

Mrs Studden is our Pupil Support Coordinator and is your first point of call for any concerns you may have in relation to your child’s needs however please don’t hesitate to speak with the Head Teacher or class teacher and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Positive partnership with our parents is central to meeting our children’s needs and we will work hard to ensure that we build positive and trusting relationships with you that enable open and honest discussions and effective planning to identify the most appropriate supports for your child.

We regularly track the attainment and wellbeing needs of all children and use the SHANARRI wellbeing indicators as a framework for our discussions and planning – there are some useful links below.
