S2 Home Economics pupils in Perth Grammar used their iPads and Book Creator to create an information booklet about culture and foods across the world

Each group took a particular country and then collected information in the form of images, text and (home made!) video to create their set of pages. Each mini book was then stitched together to form this complete whole which they saved as a video.

Mrs Stewart from Perth Grammar used the app as her first “toe-in-the water” experiment with iPads.

“This really engaged the pupils in a task which felt meaningful for them and for the first time they didn’t demand to do cooking! Pupils were focused and for their first attempt they were really proud of what they produced”
