It is our pleasure to share the core and theme words for 2023 with you. There is a slight change in format this year, which allows us to include more words. Instead of a single word, we will focus on a theme. For example, January’s core word is colour, so we are learning the signs for a variety of colours. Pupils are encouraged to explore the core and theme words in class, through stories, games, activities and interactive resources. The signs are practiced every Friday during Get Together. Join the fun by learning Makaton and body signs that will be shared on Seesaw.
