Our Golden Achievers 5/12/14
Halloween Party
At Halloween we had a fantastic party!
The Pupil Council arranged it and also ran the party.
Greenloaning Primary came along too.
✬Our New Councils✬
Each class held elections for the class representatives for the Pupil Council, The Health Council and the Eco Council.
Congratulations to the successful candidates, but also well done to all those children who stood for the posts.
Commonwealth Day
P1-7 went to the Commonwealth Day held at Crieff High School at the Strathearn Campus on Wednesday 25th June, 2014.
We joined the other schools in the Crieff cluster including the High School.
First of all we marched behind the Crieff High School Pipe band with our Malawi flag.
Then we were treated to the opening dance, in which some of our older girls were in.
One of our pupils in P7 was also presented with an award for designing the logo for the day.
Well done BM!
We then split up into classes and did different activities such as rugby, potted sports, music etc…
A big thank you to Emily Greaves and her team from Crieff High School for organising this event!
Personal Best
The children were treated to a super performance by the Quantum Theatre Group called Personal Best.
They watched and enjoyed the show, which taught them about healthy eating. We even had a few from the audience participating in the performance!
Kilt Walk and Cake Sale
Today the whole school went on a walk around the Castle Drive in Braco to help raise funds for the Kilt Walk, which some parents and children are walking in May.
Parents also made cakes and we were treated to these at break time.
In all over £120 was raised.
Thank you to everyone who helped to raise this money.
Generation Science
The whole school was invited along to see Generation science.
We all learned about the skeleton and the different systems and organs of our bodies.
There was plenty of audience participation too!
