Each week a child from each class is chosen as a Golden Achiever.
They are awarded a certificate for being a Successful Learner, a Responsible Citizen, an Effective Contributor or a Confident Individual.
Here are our winners so far this term.

Emily Greaves (The Schools’ Sports Co-ordinator) came and gave us a brilliant talk about her achievement of completing the Celtman.
This is an extreme Triathlon. Emily came 25th in a field of 157 competitors!
She told us about her training plan, the event and what it takes to complete an event like this.
She was a great inspiration to the children and staff.
Emily also raised funds of over £2000 for schools that she works for.
Thank you Emily for visiting us and telling us about your amazing feat!

Today the Eco Committee took the assembly.
They reminded us of our Eco Code and how we can help our school be eco – friendly.
Each class has to demonstrate by next week what they have been learning related to the environment.
We also found out what each class has to find out about Food and the Environment.
This week’s Golden Achievers!
Well done to everyone!
At our Get Together, it was also announced that the Golden Achievers will have a special table at lunchtime each week and select the music for Funky Friday!
At Halloween we had a fantastic party!
The Pupil Council arranged it and also ran the party.
Greenloaning Primary came along too.
Here is the latest information from GIRFEC about the Named Person for a child. A leaflet has been produced by Perth and Kinross Council, but unfortunately the file is too big for our website. Here is a link for information for parents on Perth and Kinross Council’s website.

On Wednesday 22nd, we had our Scottish Assembly.
The whole school sang a range of Scottish songs including O Flower of Scotland, Auld Lang Syne and 500 Miles.
Nursery treated us to Three Craws and we also had our guitarists playing a song!
We also had the class winners of the poetry competition recite their poems.
Our Bobby Muir Cup was presented to the P4 winner! Well done!!
Thank you also to Ms Paterson who had the difficult job of judging our competitors.
