End of term Service and Farewell to P7s!

On the last day of term it was fabulous to be back again in the church with Rev Perkins for our end of term service.

There were readings, singing, violin playing and P7 memories!

At the end of the day, the children were piped out (Thank you Harry) before going through the arch made by the children from the school.

Hope everyone has a fabulous holiday and best wishes to our Primary 7s on the next stage of their education!

Pirates of the Curry Bean and our Celebration of Achievement Evening.

P3-7 put on a spectacular performance of their play Pirates of the Curry Bean. There were ships, cutlasses, fighting, treasure, treasure maps and of course….PIRATES!

There was fantastic singing and acting by everyone!

This was all followed by our Celebration and Achievement Evening .

Well done to everyone who took part (even P1/2 for extra singing voices) and to everyone who won awards on the night! Thank you to all parents, grandparents and carers who came along on the night and helped out with costumes etc.

Nursery Graduation

The Nursery children put on a fabulous performance on their Graduation Day! First they performed dances to mini beast songs, then they were presented with their certificates.

Present Primary 6s, who will be their P7 buddies next year, gave them words of wisdom on how to survive P1!

Thank you to Mrs Fridge and Ms Carey who have worked so hard with the children over the last two years.

Vane Farm Visit

P1/2 had a fabulous time visiting Vane Farm as part of their mini beasts topic. Nursery visited also a couple of weeks before and enjoyed themselves too.

It was super exploring different habitats of mini beasts , particularly the ponds.

We also got to have a picnic and explore around the beautiful grounds of Vane Farm.

Thank you to Mrs Fridge who drove there and who also took us to The Museum of Scotland earlier in the year.  A big thank you to Hazel who also came along and helped and Parent Council for helping to pay for the trip too.

The Queen’s Jubilee

Children in the Working Together Skills group helped to organise a party at school to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. It included food in the park and some games.

Lots of the children then attended the Village celebrations on the 4th June including taking part in competitions and violin performances.
