BLACKFORD PRIMARY SCHOOL

Our School

A warm welcome to Blackford Primary School

We are a small, rural school nestled just off the A9 between Greenloaning and Auchterarder, with 53 wonderful children who make up our Blackford Primary family. Our beautiful setting allows us to learn and play outdoors every day, using our school grounds and surrounding community as an extension of our classroom. Our vision is that every child grows, learns, achieves and thrives, becoming the very best they can be. Guided by the values of Curriculum for Excellence, we nurture children who are confident, curious and ready to contribute to their world. Above all, we want our children to feel safe in their environment, secure in their relationships, and successful in their learning. In our small school, every child is known, every voice is heard, and every success is celebrated. Together—children, families and staff—we create a warm, inclusive community where learning truly comes alive.
