๐Ÿ’š Monday 15th June ๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ Good morning Primary 5!ย  We have something a little bit different for you all this week.ย  The other teachers and I have decided that this week is going to be Health and Wellbeing week; I will still be posting a literacy and maths task for you to complete each day, but these will be linked to some aspect of Health and Wellbeing, rather than our typical schedule of spelling/place value, handwriting/addition and so on. Today we are looking at Kindness.

  7. intelligent
  8. optimistic
  9. organised
  10. patient
  11. reliable

Task 2: Kindness Diary

We would like if you kept a kindness diary this week.ย  For this all you have to do is take a note of what you did that was kind, who you were kind to and you may want to write if there was a particular reason for your act of kindness (for example you played with your little brother to keep him busy whilst your mum was working) or how your act of kindness made you feel.ย  You could also draw a picture of you completing the act of kindness.

Here are some ideas of socially distant acts of kindness that you could complete this week:

Task 3: Kindness Cloud Art Activity

Create a compliment cloud for each of the people in your house or for yourself! โ˜๏ธ ๐ŸŒˆ

Your squares could say things like โ€œyou make fun of your friendโ€™s new trainers, go back to the answer to 2×3โ€ or โ€œyou bake some cookies for your next door neighbour, proceed to the answer to 3+4-2.
  2. Find/make a counter for each player. If you have a dice you can use that, if you donโ€™t you can use an online version: https://www.online-stopwatch.com/chance-games/roll-a-dice/.
  3. Play your game!
