Todays assembly looked at our favourite article! Article 31 – Our right to rest and play. We looked at how important physical activity is for children and how it can develop many skills that can be used in all areas of life.

We also looked at how happy sport can make people and that it isn’t always important to win, taking park can be just as fun!

Article 31 – Children have the right to rest and play.

Today we had our first assembly of the year. We enjoyed welcoming all the children back and discussed the changes and differences that happen as you move through the school – we also looked at some changes that are happening in school this year.

We identified Article 1 of the UNCRC – understanding how important this is as it helps define a child.
