Todays assembly is linked to Article 24.
We explored how the environment impacts on children’s rights, what climate change is and the impact it has on people. We considered our role in fighting climate change and highlighted important climate activists who are fighting to make the world a cleaner and healthier place.

Article 24 – You have the right to the best health care possible, safe water to drink, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help you stay well.
In today’s assembly we explored and looked at article 19. We discussed what children need to feel safe and protected.
Then we learned that it is World Bee Day! We have some news about our bees. They have recently swarmed and are in the process of growing a new Queen bee! How exciting!
Article 19 – You have the right to be protected from being
hurt and mistreated, in body or mind.
Today we looked at what we can do to look after our mental health. We identified strategies and ways to help ourselves and others.
