Our house and vice-house captains have been researching youth activists across the world. They looked at influential young people and shared what they had learned with the school.
Our first pair researched Greta Thunberg. She is from Swedon and is an environmental activist on climate change. She is known internationally for campaigning to start immediate action to address the climate crisis.
Next we learned about Asean Johnson. He is a youth activist who at the age of nine spoke at a rally in Chicago to protest about the closure of 54 public schools. He believes in educational equality and that children must stand up for their right to be educated.
