Today Primary 7 were visited by Iain and his mobile museum. Everyone had a fantastic day of fun learning experiences linked to our World War 2 topic.
Here are just some of our pictures to capture the day.

We have been learning about rationing during World War 2. Using our knowledge we have created ration themed “Come dine with me” menus.
We have had fun making and tasting some authentic World War 2 recipes using some basic rations.
World War 2 loaf – brown, stodgy and filling. We also churned our own butter to spread on this.
Corned beef fritters – Yum!!
Carrot cookies – simple, easy and surprisingly tasty.
Welcome to P7a’s blog page. Here you will find information about our learning.
Wishing you all the very best as you move on to high school.
We had lots of fun dressing up and taking pictures in our 80s and 90s themed photo booth!
Just a wee reminder that everyone needs a costume for the show ASAP! P7a will all be dressed as orphans so dig out some old clothes and dress down for the show!
Primary 7a would like to say a big thank you to all the parents, staff and children who helped to make the playground so nice. Well done! We can’t wait to start using the outdoor classroom!
Our final day started with Future X and a fitness challenge. We then finished off the week with a party.
Primary 7 and Mrs McFarlane would like to say a great big thank you to all of the staff, parents and parent council for making this such  memorable week. Thank you.
Our travels continue, Thursday 14th May we went to M and Ds and Airspace – which was a new experience for most of us! We certainly reached new heights today!
