Rights Respecting School

RRSA-ROC-logoMany thanks to both the pupil and staff Rights Respecting Steering Group for their hard work. St. Timothy’s Primary has now been offically recognised by UNICEF as a school that has begun it’s jouney to becoming a Rights Respecting School via the RRSA Award program. There are many steps to achieving this prestigious award and we have now been granted the first Recognition of Achievment (ROC) status. We are now undertaking steps to work towards level one accreditation.

Season for Growth Programme

St. Timothy’s offers an 8 week Seasons for Growth programme within school hours. This programme is an opportunity for children who have experienced significant loss due to death or a family breakdown.

The aims of the Seasons for Growth programme are to help children understand the effects of grief and loss and to develop important skills to help them come to terms with changes in family life.

Please inform the school if you think your child may benefit from this programme.

The Seasons for Growth Companions in our school are; Miss Walsh, Miss Brolly and Mrs Hackshaw

More detailed information is available from the school or at www.notredamecentre.org/uk/seasoon-for-growth.

Many thanks.
