Lenten Fundraisers 2019

Each year in St Timothy’s we fund-raise for charities during lent.  This year we will be supporting 3 charities:

SCIAF, St Andrew’s Hospice and Brain Tumour Research

Lenten Fundraiser 1    Fun Afternoon        Friday 8th March 1:30pm-3pm

On this afternoon there will be a range of activities available for the children to take part in e.g netball shoots, beat the goalie, guess the dolls birthday, raffles and a cafe to name but a few.  Children should “raid their piggy banks” and bring their money into school to take part in these activities.  On the day children can come to school “dressed down ” and do not need to wear their uniform.

Lenten Fundraiser 2       Whole School Quiz       Friday 15th March

The whole school quiz will run all week.  Children will be in teams comprising of P1-7 .  On Friday the 15th of March the children will pay 50p or £1 per family to “dress down” and watch the semi- final and final of the quiz.

Lenten Fundraiser 3              Wear a Hat to School     Friday 22nd of March

To support brain tumor research Children will pay 50p or £1 per family to come “dressed down” and wearing a hat of their choice.
