Sports’ Day will take place on Wednesday the 1st of June.
Our annual Sports Day will take place on Wednesday 1st June (weather permitting). Sports Day will be split into two parts:
- P4-P7 : 9:15 am – 11:15 am
- P1-P3 : 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
In order to accomodate these two sessions lunch time will be from 12:10 – 12:55 pm on this day only. It would be easier for all infants to either have a packed lunch or go to school dinners on this day.
Each pupil will compete in a sprinting race and a novelty race. There will also be Scottish Team obstacle races, where teams will be a mix of P1-P7 pupils. Our very own Cheerleading Club and Dance Troupe will be entertaining us during the various events. As always we will have our staff and parents/carers race. We will also have a “farewell” P7 novelty fun race.
Pupils should come dressed for Sports Day in appropriate sports clothes consisting of :
- t-shirt
- shorts
- jogging suit (Nb. P5 pupils should wear jogging bottoms or leggings for novelty race)
- trainers/gym shoes
- No jewellery please
Please bring a sun hat, have sunscreen applied and bring a bottle of water. If the weather turns against us we will reschedule if possible.
Parents are welcome to watch on “Tim’s Brae” just outside the pitch and participate in the parents’ race.
